8 30 16 Members Present; Me, Tenaya, Isabel, Timmy, Kaiya Tardy: RAY MAN KAISER • Spamalot; good singing is not needed, just enthusiasm • We have a lot of overlapping in fans of Monty Python and theatre • Timmy; As a high school show, we have a limited amount of people that would want to see it • Tenaya; Unless if we repeat high school musical, not many teens will come anyway • Isabel; most of our audience is parents, family friends, and other theatre kids • Side note; Isabel can’t talk more than usual today • With Spamalot, we are definitely pushing ourselves but not overexerting ourselves • Spamalot will be easier for gender roles, which will be useful for us • Bringing new options to the table makes this decision excessively difficult • Our options; Spamalot, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum, Beauty and the Beast, and O Brother Where Art Thou • We will make our final decision for the musical on Thursday and Friday, September 1st and 2nd • Club Day: We must have a table • Company shirt; We will be beginning a shirt contest for Santa Cruz High Theatre on club day • Almost Maine: We are having callbacks on Friday, September 2nd as well • Goals for tech; let’s get started on set pieces before tech week • For the northern lights, we can use a projector on the curtains (it will be trial and error) • Tenaya’s watch is very large • Ray wants to kill the (wo)man who took his school picture
