Yes • Vote on Musical: Timmy and Ray vote the Music Man? • Tenaya’s all for Sweeney Todd • I’m still going for Legally Blonde • Music for Sweeney Todd is too difficult and we don’t have those skills • Doing shows nobody’s heard of is kinda pointless • Timmy’s rooting for Bug’s Life • Timmy’s bringing up a lot of musicals that we clearly don’t have the acting ability for • No Timmy, we’re not doing “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” • Isabel: We should do a musical with real music • This will be a very hard decision • We can convince Ms. Lorber to recruit choir students for a pit choir • We will pick the director for the fall play on Tuesday, June 7. • Goal for next year: work with community outreach especially with middle schools • Me: If we go to the middle schools and talk to the middle schoolers about different aspects of theatre, this will prepare them and give us better actors at this school. • Isabel: Let’s plan to do something during orientation/ middle school tours to interest incoming students • The theatre departments between high schools are very competitive. What if we had a joint performance of scenes with actors from each school? • Preview musicals are also great. The Jungle Book? • Conclusion: Ms. Bradford will hunt down Ms. Lorber and search for more musicals • In another news, Ray only wants to act in Monty Python • The Jungle Book would actually be really cool as a preview show • I’m splitting this cookie now. You’re welcome
