- First day with the new committee, so that's cool.
- We kinda forgot Ms. Lorber in the program, so we're going to add that for this week. We should make sure next year whoever does that isn't super busy also.
- Let's also add Rishi to the thank-yous
- Strike, let's remind people about that. We're going to start forth period, and also move flats and lumber to the room below in the bikeroom. And his class is going to help, so that's cool.
- So finally getting our lumber wont be so hard.
- Monday the 22nd will be strike. Be there. I mean, if you weren't involved and you're reading this then I guess you don't have to. We'd appreciate it, but really you don't need to. If you were involved you need to, though.
- We only have three more Tuesdays, so we have to get shows and the fall play director selected. Let's get as many as possible. Make sure you know your shit if you bring one in to present.
- Maybe moving the Musical out of May. Originally we did that so we had a better shot at the orchestra, but the trade off of it being during AP tests just doesn't seem worth it. So maybe we can move it to the winter.
- Seems like some more fundraising, maybe even to hire an orchestra, but just more money is good.
- Apparently the musical is the only one that we might not break even on. Like, if we spent any more money than we tend to. But apparently the others actually do make money, so I guess unless we want professional musicians we don't really need to do fundraising, because it's a lot of work.
- Damn we're not broke. Let's try and keep it that way.
- We should decide to focus on an orchestra or using backing tracks. If we decide on the latter, we should get monitors/look into how expensive monitors are. That will really probably depend on what show we do.
- Next week we should at least decide on the fall play. Actually, that should really be the deadline. Let's get on that.
- There's a choose your own adventure play. I want to do it. I'm leaving, but damn I want to do that.
- What are we talking about...
- Nico wants everything to be grungy. But he said something about detectives which makes me think about noir which makes me interested.
- "Let's write our own murder mystery but actually kill someone"
- Let's write a play, give every audience member a prop gun and let them kill indiscriminately. We tell them it's filled with blanks. It's not.
- A good play idea can be found by filtering by "most produced for high school shows"
- Ray is bad at shirts. He blames Genie, but he's totally lying. I mean, look at him. He's 10 years out of college and he always thought... nah.
- What?
- No, it sounds stupid.
- Note: Charlie notes are bad.
- No they aren't
- The sun is shining, it's a lovely day. A perfect morning for a kid to play. And you've got lots of bills to pay... what can you do? You work real hard and the pay's real low, and every hour goes oh so slow. And at the end of the day there's nowhere to go... but home to Avenue Q! You live on Avenue Q! Your friends do too! You-oo are twenty-two, and you live on Avenue Q! You live on Avenue Q! You live on Avenue Q!
- Somethin somethin savage it's good there's crazy ppeople but like CRAZY tho. I mean, literally institutionalized but they're the good guys, don't make assumptions.
- Laramie Project, The didning room, The Curious Savage, Anne Frank,
- The Sound of Music, Heathers, Shrek the Musical
